Once again, it’s almost time for our annual Christmas Meet in Dahlonega, when we meet for a fun-filled weekend to celebrate our friendship and our love for our amazing Hudsons.
We’ve decided to make a few changes in the order of activities for the weekend. Briefly, our schedule includes:
Friday: 6 p.m. Dinner at The Smith House restaurant.
Saturday: Noon. Christmas Parade.
11 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Tea Party at a downtown location.
Evening (time will be announced) Christmas Party/Social Hour and Dinner at the Upchurch residence.
Sunday: 9:30 a.m. Gather for breakfast at Public House Kitchen, then say our farewells.

The Holly Theatre is performing “The 1940s Radio Christmas Carol” this year at 7:30 pm on December 12. There are still a few seats available for that night. We are not organizing a group, so if you wish to attend, I strongly encourage you to purchase your seats ASAP. (706)530-5162.

After dinner, some people may want to return to the hotel to settle in. Others might want to walk around the square and maybe even take a carriage ride. The Dahlonega Public Square at Christmas time is lively and almost magical - something to experience! There are coffee shops and other places to just sit and absorb the Christmas feeling.
Saturday: Enjoy the Christmas festivities on the Public Square, and/or kick tires. The Christmas Parade will be at 12:00 noon. Please let Becky know ASAP if you plan to drive your Hudson in the parade and provide details of the car!

At EITHER 11:00 a.m. OR 1:30 p.m. Cost: $49.99 per person.

Saturday evening (time to be announced) will be our Christmas Party at the Upchurches, 107 Granite Bluff, Dahlonega, GA 30533.
We will have a Social Hour, followed by dinner and a gift exchange.
We suggest gifts might fall within the $15-20 range. Participate as individual or couple. Each person/couple who brings a gift will leave with a gift.
The dinner will be catered, so please do not bring additional food.
